Yes, you can rent a car in Marrakech without a credit card. Marrakesh Car Rental's deposit is normally a card pre-authorisation, so on economy, compact, automatic and 7-seater cars you replace it with the €7-a-day no-deposit waiver and pay by cash, debit card or credit card at return.
Do you need a credit card to rent a car in Marrakech?
No. Marrakesh Car Rental's deposit is a card pre-authorisation, but the €7-a-day no-deposit waiver removes that requirement on economy, compact, automatic and 7-seater cars. A debit card or cash is enough. Luxury, convertible, the Range Rover Evoque and the Porsche Macan GTS still require one.

What you need
- An eligible vehicle class for the waiver — economy, compact, automatic or 7-seater
- The no-deposit waiver declared at booking, not at the counter
- Driver aged 23 or over, licence held at least two years
- Passport or national ID matching the licence and the booking
- A rental of three consecutive days or more
- A credit card in the main driver's name for luxury, convertible, the Range Rover Evoque or the Porsche Macan GTS
What is not covered
- Luxury, convertible, the Range Rover Evoque and the Porsche Macan GTS, where the waiver does not apply and a credit card is required
- Rentals shorter than three days, which still need the standard card pre-authorisation
- Drivers under 23 or holding a licence for less than two years
- Damage caused off tarmac, and tyres, windscreen and underbody, which sit outside cover regardless of payment method
- Fuel — the full-to-full policy applies whether you pay by cash or card

How do you book a car in Marrakech without a credit card?
Message your dates and the vehicle class on WhatsApp and say you want to pay without a card. We confirm the €7-a-day waiver on eligible classes, quote the full rate, and take no card details or online payment at booking.
Send your dates and class
Message us the pickup date, return date and preferred class — economy, compact, automatic or 7-seater qualify for the waiver. Say you are paying without a credit card.
Confirm the waiver
We check the class, the rental length and the driver's age and licence. If all three qualify we add the €7-a-day waiver; if not, we say so before you book.
Get the rate in writing
You receive the daily rate with the waiver included, plus any extras. No card number and no online payment is taken at this stage.
Collect and pay at return
We hand over the car with a signed condition report and no card held. Settle the bill in cash or by card when you bring the car back.
